What is Pay later (BNPL)?

Personal money

"Buy now, pay later": short-term credit offered at checkout, often in shopping apps. Late payments add fees and can hurt your credit history.

Think of it like: A shop letting you take it home and pay next month.
Real example: In Indonesia, paylater debts show up in OJK's credit records (SLIK), so missed bills can make a home loan harder to get later.
Lesson: Good debt, bad debt
