What is Sukuk?

Stocks, funds & commodities

A sharia-compliant alternative to a bond. Investors share in income from real assets instead of earning interest.

Think of it like: Co-owning a shop with friends and sharing the rent it earns, instead of lending money for interest.
Real example: Governments from Saudi Arabia to Malaysia, Indonesia and the UK have issued sukuk.
