What is Stock?
Stocks, funds & commoditiesA small piece of ownership in a company, also called a share. If the company grows its profits, the share can become worth more.
Think of it like: Owning one slice of a pizza company.
Real example: Indonesian shares trade in lots of 100: buy one lot of a listed bank and you own 100 tiny slices of that bank.
