Children & Parents
Age rules, how we protect younger players and tips for parents and guardians.
TradeLiga is an education game about money and markets. Many teens use it to learn, and we want it to be a safe place for them.
Minimum age
- You must be at least 13 to use TradeLiga.
- If the law where you live sets a higher age to agree to online services yourself (for example 16 in some countries of the European Economic Area), a parent or guardian must agree for you until you reach that age.
- If you're under 18, a parent or guardian should know you use TradeLiga.
How we protect younger players
- TradeLiga uses pretend money only. Nothing in the game costs money, and there are no purchases.
- There is no private chat between players. Players see only names, countries, ranks and scores.
- Display names are checked against our Community Rules, and players can report problems.
- We don't show personalised ads based on tracking across other websites.
- Broker ads and the Broker Hub are for adults. Real trading accounts are only for people aged 18 or over. If you're under 18, don't open one.
For parents and guardians
- Talk with your child about what they learn. The lessons on risk, scams and saving are a good place to start.
- Explain that games are not real trading, and that people promising fast money online are usually scammers.
- You can turn off notifications in the app or in the phone's settings.
- You can ask us for a copy of your child's information, or ask us to delete it. Write to privacy@tradeliga.com.
If a child under 13 is using TradeLiga
If you believe a child under 13 (or under the age of digital consent in your country) has given us personal information without permission, contact us at privacy@tradeliga.com. We'll delete the account and its information. You can also delete it directly in the app: see Data Deletion.
