Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and TradeLiga ("we", "us"), which runs TradeLiga on tradeliga.com and in the TradeLiga app. They're written in plain language, but they're still a legal agreement, so please read them.

Accepting these terms

By using TradeLiga, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Community and Fair Play Rules. If you don't agree, please don't use TradeLiga.

If you're under 18, read these terms with a parent or guardian. Our page for children and parents explains the age rules.

What TradeLiga is

TradeLiga is a free education game. You learn through short lessons, games built on real historical prices, a glossary, guides, daily reviews, leagues, duels and certificates.

• No real money. All trades in TradeLiga use pretend money. You can't deposit, bet, win or withdraw money in TradeLiga.
• No financial advice. TradeLiga explains how markets work. It never tells you what to buy or sell. Read our Risk Disclaimer.
• Not a broker. We don't hold money for anyone, run trading accounts or carry out trades.

Who can use TradeLiga

You must be at least 13 years old. If the law where you live sets a higher age for agreeing to online services on your own (for example 16 in some countries of the European Economic Area), you need a parent's or guardian's permission until you reach that age.

Real trading accounts with brokers are for adults only. If you're under 18, don't open one, even if an ad or a link invites you to.

Your account

You can play as a guest, or sign in with Google to keep your progress safe across devices.

• Keep your device and your Google account secure. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
• One account per person. Don't share, sell or transfer your account.
• Pick a display name that isn't offensive, doesn't include personal details such as your phone number, and doesn't pretend to be someone else.
• Guest progress is stored on your device and on our servers. If you clear your device or start over without signing in, you may lose it.

You can delete your account at any time. See Data Deletion.

Points, ranks and certificates

XP, streaks, ranks, league points, chests, badges and certificates are part of the game. They have no cash value. You can't buy, sell or exchange them, and they aren't a qualification. We may change how they work to keep the game fair, for example when we find a bug or cheating.

Certificates confirm that a TradeLiga account finished a learning path or reached a rank in the game. Read our Certificate Policy.

Fair play

Follow our Community and Fair Play Rules. In particular, don't:

• cheat, use bots, scripts or modified apps, or exploit bugs to earn XP, goals or league points;
• harass, threaten, insult or bully other players, or choose offensive names;
• copy, scrape or resell our content, or try to reverse engineer, overload or break into TradeLiga;
• use TradeLiga for anything illegal, for spam, or to advertise other services.

If you break these rules, we may remove scores, reset progress, remove you from leagues, revoke certificates, or suspend or close your account. Where it's fair and possible, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to explain.

Ads, partner brokers and other websites

TradeLiga is free because it shows ads, including ads from partner brokers, and because we may earn money when you open an account through a partner link. Read our Advertising and Affiliate Disclosure.

• An ad, or a broker listed in the Broker Hub, is not a recommendation and not a promise that the company is right for you.
• Always check that a broker is licensed by the regulator in your country before you sign up.
• Once you leave TradeLiga, the other company's terms and privacy policy apply. We aren't responsible for their products, services or content.

Trading with real money is risky. You can lose all the money you put in. Products with leverage, such as CFDs, are especially risky.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, we may send you reminders about your streak, lessons, leagues and duels, and news about TradeLiga. You can turn them off at any time in the app or in your device settings.

Our content and your licence

The lessons, games, characters, art, texts and software of TradeLiga belong to us or to our licensors. We give you a personal, free, non-exclusive licence to use TradeLiga for your own learning. You may share screenshots and share cards for non-commercial purposes.

Market prices in TradeLiga are for education only. They may be delayed or incomplete, or contain errors.

What you share with us

If you send us feedback, ideas or messages, we may use them to improve TradeLiga without owing you anything. Your display name, country, rank and other public profile details are visible to other players in leagues, duels and crews, and on your player page.

Changes and availability

We may add, change, pause or remove features, games, lessons or content. We try to keep TradeLiga running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Our responsibility

TradeLiga is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows:

• we aren't responsible for losses that come from decisions you make based on TradeLiga, including trading or investment losses;
• we aren't responsible for the products, services or content of advertisers, brokers or other websites;
• our total responsibility to you for any claim about TradeLiga is limited to 50 US dollars or the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, whichever is higher. TradeLiga is free, so usually you've paid nothing.

Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that can't be limited by law, for example for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you're a consumer, you keep all the rights your country's consumer law gives you.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using TradeLiga at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law, or if we have to stop offering TradeLiga. If we shut TradeLiga down completely, we'll try to tell you in advance.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the country where TradeLiga is registered (see the Imprint), unless your country's consumer law says otherwise. If you have a problem, contact us first at hello@tradeliga.com. Most issues are sorted out quickly that way. You may also go to the courts where you live if your local law allows it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is important, we'll tell you in the app or on this page before it takes effect, and update the date at the top. If you keep using TradeLiga after the change, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, you can stop using TradeLiga and delete your account.
